Actor Jake Gyllenhaal, whose three movies (Chronicles, Jarhead and Brokeback Mountain) are going to release this fall, is making news for his role in the Gulf War drama ‘Jarhead’.

The film is based on the best-selling book by Anthony Swofford who wrote about his experience in Saudi Arabia during the first Gulf War.

Jake talking about the film, the cast and his role said that this movie was a life-changing experience for him. Gyllenhaal had to shave his head and reshape his body for the role but he discovered that stripping aside Hollywood superficiality and getting in touch with his inner grunt made the acting easier.

Oscar-winning director, Sam Mendes recently said “He really went from being a boy to being a man. It happened to him during the shooting of the movie, so a lot of it surprised me and I was really thrilled with what he came up with.”

Gyllenhaal takes the central role of Tony “Swoff” Swofford. Peter Sarsgaard portrays Troy, Swoff’s partner in their elite unit of Marine scout. And Oscar winner Chris Cooper portrays Lt. Col. Kazinski, the commander who itches to unleash his killing machine on an overmatched enemy.

Jennifer Aniston talking about her new movie ‘Derailed’ reveled that filming passionate sex scenes with hunky co-star Clive Owen left her bruised.

“I got good bruises on my legs - not pretty. But your adrenaline is running so you don’t even feel it,” the actress said.

The former ‘Friends’ star, who recently divorced husband Brad Pitt, has also admitted she felt awkward filming the raunchy scenes, because she had only known Clive for a couple of weeks. The stunning actress said, “It’s Week 2: ‘How are you, nice to meet you,’ and let’s get to the sex.”

In ‘Derailed’ Aniston plays a married woman, called Lucinda Harris, who has a tryst with Owen’s character Charles Schine.

The actress recently revealed she took the role after her pal Julia Roberts, who starred opposite Clive in ‘Closer’, told her the actor was “dreamy” to work with. And Jennifer says she wasn’t disappointed, saying, “Was he dreamy? Yes, absolutely. And then some.”

Britney Spears and her husband Kevin Federline’s marriage is reportedly on the verge of collapse, as the new mum has kicked her husband out of their Malibu home and demanded a trial separation after a blazing row.

Kevin is said to be staying at a friend’s house until he can sort things out with Britney. But singer’s friends have claimed that their marriage is heading for the rocks with Kevin, who is allegedly avoiding his fatherly duties by partying till the wee hours, while she is left to change the baby’s nappies.

A pal revealed, “Brit’s had all she can stand of the problems with Kevin. She explained to him that the split would be temporary, that it would give them some breathing room to sort out their problems. Britney is giving it her all to make things work.”

However, Britney’s spokeswoman, Lesley Sloane Zelnick, has insisted that everything is “fine” with the couple’s marriage, and they are blissfully happy.

Lindsay Lohan’s new album ‘A Little More Personal (Raw)’ has been pushed back by two weeks to December 6 from the original Nov. 22 release date.

As previously reported, the Casablanca Records set is led by the single “Confessions of a Broken Heart,” the video for which was directed by Lohan herself.

Although the full track list has yet to be confirmed, “A Little More Personal” is expected to feature such songs as “My Innocence,” “I Live for the Day,” “Black Hole,” “If You Were Me” and “Beautiful Day.” Former Evanescence guitarist Ben Moody contributes three as-yet-unnamed songs.

Paris Hilton, who recently made her acting debut in horror film ‘House of Wax’, looks set to play Hollywood icon Zsa Zsa Gabor in a new movie. The hotel heiress is in talks with producers to star as the glamorous veteran actress - who was once married to Paris’ great-grandfather Conrad Hilton - in a new biopic.

Like Paris, Zsa Zsa is better known for her personal life than her professional career. A source revealed, “Paris thinks she’s perfect to play Zsa Zsa, as she’s the sort of glamorous, determined and ambitious woman that she admires. They both have pretty colourful lives, so Paris could bring an element of empathy to the role, if nothing else.”

Born in Hungary, Zsa Zsa followed her sister, Eva, to Hollywood and had her big movie break in the 1952 film ‘Moulin Rouge‘. However, she is more famous for her staggering list of husbands - nine in total, including Paris’s great-grandfather, Conrad, who founded the famous Hilton hotel chain. She once quipped of her ex, “Conrad Hilton was very generous to me in the divorce settlement. He gave me 5,000 Gideon Bibles.”

Brad Pitt was recently spotted with Angelina Jolie and her kids at the beach right outside his Malibu pad. According to onlookers, the two looked like a perfect family.

The smitten couple was spotted strolling on the shore outside hunky Brad’s plush Malibu home. The actor is seen with his arm around the pillow-lipped beauty, and later plays with four-year-old Maddox while Angelina carries nine-month-old baby Zahara in a sling.

“Brad and Angelina looked like they have been a family for years. Maddox loved running around on the beach showing off for his mum and Brad,” an onlooker said.

Earlier this month it was revealed Brad had quit smoking for the sake of Maddox and Zahara. The Hollywood heartthrob gave up cigarettes because his stunning girlfriend doesn’t like him smoking around the tots.
