Four brothers look to avenge their mother’s death. The story centers around four men who were all adopted by the same loving woman. When she dies the four go home to lay her to rest but discover she may have been murdered. Like loving sons they go after the person responsible for her death. It’s enough to make any mother proud.

There’s nothing like a good vengeance flick to bring people together. At least, that seems to be the mood of the folks behind this summer’s release Four Brothers. The movie stars Mark Wahlberg, Tyrese Gibson, Garrett Hedlund and Andre Benjamin. Yes, I know that Andre is the Andre “3000″ of Outkast.

Four Brothers is expected to release on August 12. The poster for the film has just been released and we have it here for you.

Here’s the first real poster for the Jessica Simpsons ass-centric redneck flick The Dukes of Hazzard.

Plot Outline - The Dukes of Hazzard
Cousins Bo (Scott) and Luke (Knoxville) Duke, with a little help from their cousin Daisy (Simpson) and Uncle Jesse (Willie Nelson), egg on the authorities of Hazzard County, Boss Hogg and Sheriff Coltrane.

Highlander: The Source

Christopher Lambert (Connor MacLeod) is coming back to screen in Highlander: The Source as Duncan MacLeod and his fellow Immortals search for the meaning of Immortality.

Though still in pre-production stage the movie rumored to tell the story of four new charismatic Immortals as they quest to locate the Holy Grail of their world.

Brett Leonard directs the story ‘Connor Macleod’ aka Highlander who is born in 1518 in the Highlands of Scotland and believed to be immortal.

The story of Highlander: The Source is being written by David Abramowitz.

Michelle Yeoh and Monaghan in Mission impossible 3

The million dollar question making round in Hollywood is who is going to be the female lead in Mission Impossible 3 being directed by JJ Abrams.

First it’s Lindsay Lohan and then it was the future Mrs. Tom Cruise, Katie Homes. Now it’s being reported that Michelle Monaghan is a done deal as the lead love interest in the project.

Michelle Monaghan who starred in Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang, won the role as after Scarlett Johansson pulled out. Carrie-Anne Moss and Kenneth Branagh have also dropped out due to several delays in the project. Monaghan, 28, also previously appeared in Constantine and The Bourne Supremacy and will be seen in the upcoming Brad Pitt-Angelina Jolie movie Mr and Mrs Smith.

The Rambo returns - Rambo IV details

Sylvester Stallone has revealed how he nearly died after he asked his co-star to fight for real during filming on Rocky IV.

The 59-year-old told Dolph Lundgren to forget the choreographed fight scene and to come out punching, thinking that he could dodge all that was thrown at him.

The muscle-bound star of Judge Dredd and Rambo remembered telling Dolph: “I want you to come out for the first 30 seconds, trying to take me out.” (more…)

Masters of Horror

Dario Argento has signed to do a new horror portmanteau picture with Tobe Hooper and Monte Hellman. We all knew he had joined Hooper, John Landis, John Carpenter, Roger Corman, Joe Dante etc. for the 13 one-hour TV series ‘Masters of Horror’.

But the so-far-untitled anthology (Three Evil Eyes?) being financed by Japanese backers was a total surprise. Due to start shooting in September, the terror trilogy has been scripted by Dennis Bartok, programme director of the American Cinematheque and one of those people endlessly thanked on such ‘Making Of’ DVD extras for EVIL DEAD, The Fog, The Howling and Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

What a dream team this is, Dario Argento, Tobe Hooper and Monte Hellman are each taking one film of a horror trilogy. For horror fans, this is a dream team, although Hellman’s credits are more in cult classics than horror.

Eddie signed for upcoming vampire flick

Eddie Furlong is signed on to the upcoming vampire flick KISS OF THE SUN.

A June 20 production starting in Romania has been set for Edward Furlong’s “Kiss of the Sun,â€?.

Micheal Valverde, founder GVE exclaimed “We are thrilled to have Eddie on board. We had him in mind when we wrote the script.�

Produced by Green Valley Entertainment, it is the story of a female vampire who falls for a vampire hunter (Eddie) who’s out to kill her master.

Based on a short story by Stephen L. Antczak, entitled ‘Virtual Day’ from the collection ‘Daydreams Undertaken’, Jon Hill, is up to direct this vampire love story.

KISS is set to beginning filming this month in Miami, as well as Bucharest, Romania.

Horror specialist Susco to adapt Crawlspace

Paramount Pictures has hired horror specialist Stephen Susco (The Grudge) to adapt Herbert Lieberman’s novel Crawlspace.

Story, published in 1971, centers on a couple who have retired to the country and decide to ask a shy young man who’s repairing their heater to stay for dinner. Mysterious occurrences mount over the next few weeks, culminating with the discovery that the man has taken up residence in the basement crawlspace. ”

Susco is also penning The Grudge 2 and wrote Prom Night for Columbia Pictures and Original Films.

Evolution Entertainment, which previously brought Saw to the screen, will develop the project for Paramount executives Alli Shearmur and Matt Jackson.
