Movie Review: “The Runaways”

The film “The Runaways” is about a lead singer of 1970’s, Cherie Currie and the story is taken from book ‘Neon Angel’. The story is about a teenage girls group, who is managed by Kim Fowley. The girls are below 16 years and they succeed on their own merits.

The story is how the band is formed and the life of the rock star. The star later leaves the band after personal controversies. The film is directed by Floria Sigismondi.
