Omen 666 Teaser Online - Gets a Release Date
Remember the great 1976 “son of Satan on earth” film THE OMEN, directed by Richard Donner and starring the great Gregory Peck and David Warner?
A new teaser for The Omen remake is now online and, coincidentally, the film comes out on 6.6.06. One can only imagine the studio meeting in which this brilliant marketing strategy was born. I mean, so what if June 6th is a Tuesday - chances like this only come around every 100 years.
The film updates the 1976 original starring Liev Schreiber and Julia Stiles as the parents of a little demon. The little devil, by the way, is helped by a scheming nanny played by no other than Rosemary — of “Rosemary’s Baby” — Mia Farrow.
You know the one that still holds up rock solid today? The one that pummels most recent genre flicks to the ground in terms of impact and quality?
