Hordes of teenage girls auditioned for Harry Potter next

The Makers of the Harry Potter series are searching of a perfect Luna Lovegood for the next movie installment ‘Harry Potter and The Order of the Phoenix’. For the weirdo wizard role thousands of teenage girls auditioned on Saturday hoping that they will get a chance of work alongside Daniel Radcliffe and other cast members.

The auditions were taking place at the Westminster Central Hall in London. The blonde-haired Lovegood is described as having a somewhat distracted appearance and is called “Looney Lovegood” behind her back.

Casting director Fiona Weir also gave some hints regarding the character, “The wonderful thing about Luna is that she can have any sort of look but it’s a very particular quality that’s important. She is very other-worldly and not like anybody else.”

No acting experience is necessary, but those giving audition must live in Britain or Ireland. Meanwhile Harry Potter and the gang are busy preparing for their exams making the producers of the film Warner Brothers loose million because of halt in the progress of the fifth movie in the series.

Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson who play Harry and Hermione in the series will sit for their Advanced Supplementary (AS) Levels and General Certificate of Secondary Education (GCSE) exams this summer. Radcliffe is studying English literature, history, religion and philosophy, while co-star Watson, will take the exams for standard subjects including English, Maths and Science.
