Katie Holmes pregnancy news has allegedly come as a shock to Tom Cruise ex-wife Nicole Kidman because she found out the news via tabloids and television reports, despite being in regular contact with Cruise.

This reaction from Nicole has sparked rumours that she still has feelings for Tom, but she has assured her friends it is simply because she is worried about how the new arrival will affect her children.

The sexy actress has two adopted children, Connor and Isabella from her marriage to Cruise. A close friend of the actress said, “Nicole can’t believe its happening. It was so sudden, she shut down. Obviously she must still have feelings for Tom, she’s been crying and has been really upset.”

The friend added, “This baby means Katie Holmes will be in Tom’s life forever. Nicole always cherished the special bond adopting gave her and Tom. Now he will share that bond with Katie.”

Cruise, 43, and Holmes, 26, started dating in mid-April and after two months, Tom proposed to Katie at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Cruise has been married twice, to Mimi Rogers and later Nicole Kidman. The date for his third marriage with Katie Holmes has not been settled yet.
