Kate Moss loses fashion contract due to her dope scandal
Kate Moss has lost her modeling contract with fashion giants H&M, despite apologising over cocaine allegations.
The trendy clothing chain has ditched its advertising campaign fronted by the supermodel after pictures were published appearing to show her snorting the Class A drug.
Moss’ contract with H&M, said to be worth almost US$2million, states that the model’s image must be “healthy, wholesome and sound.”
A spokesperson for the company said: “H&M is strongly against drugs and for many years has actively supported the drug preventing organisation Mentor Foundation. After having evaluated the situation, H&M has decided that a campaign with Kate Moss is inconsistent with H&M’s clear dissociation of drugs.”
Earlier this week, an H&M representative said the company was willing to give the super-waif another chance after she pleaded with the fashion label’s marketing director to let her continue working for them. But after more revelations claiming Moss indulged in cocaine-fuelled lesbian three-in-a-bed sex sessions, the company was forced to take immediate action.
