The former Spice Girl, Victoria Beckham is quitting pop music - to be a perfect wife and mother

Wife of English football captain David Beckham, claims she is stepping out of the limelight to support her husband and three sons, Brooklyn, five, Romeo, two, and baby Cruz.

She said: “All I want to do now is stay in the shadows and look after my children. I have no plans to make music. I loved my time with the Spice Girls. But that’s in the past.”

Victoria’s shock decision has scupper plans for a Spice Girls reunion, rumoured to be taking place next year to coincide with the 10th anniversary of their first single ‘Wannabe’.

The brunette beauty, better known as Posh, revealed she wants more children - and is desperate for a baby girl.

She added in an interview with Spanish magazine Chic: “I love children and would like to have one or two more.â€? Although I love my boys more than anything else, I’d love to have a girl.”

Posh is also out to prove she is not a totally culture free zone. She revealed the home she shares with hubby David in Madrid is full of art work by Damien Hurst. But an artist called Brooklyn could be next on their wall as Victoria says her eldest son loves to draw.

Victoria also revealed her love for the Spanish way of life.
She said: “It’s great here - the climate, the people, the restaurants. Things happen more slowly here.

“At first I had problems adapting to the pace of Spanish life. But now I’m grateful for it. I find it lovely. I can’t think of anything I don’t like about Spain.

In related news Victoria says she has never read a book in her life.

“I haven’t read a book in my life,” the ex-Spice Girl has told a Spanish journalist. “I haven’t got enough time. I prefer to listen to music, although I do love fashion magazines.”
