The Island actors backlash the blaming

The Island lost and lost hard at the box office.

Though the movie is good but it lost due to poor marketing strategy. And like the players of lost game blaming each other for their mistakes here also the same happens.

Producers Walter Parkes and wife Laurie McDonald have admitted on their website that the acting duo, Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johanson - who play lovers in the sci-fi drama gave less than a sparkling performance.

They defended themselves saying “Listen, those are the superstars of the future, not the superstars of the present.” McDonald went further by writing of stunning Scarlett “Even lesser television actresses, quite honestly, would have more connection to that audience.”

To this Scarlett Johansson has lashed back at the producers for their stupid comments.

Johannson rages, “This is a clear-cut example of the producers passing the buck and not taking responsibility for their part in making calculated mistakes throughout the film’s marketing.â€? (I am) proud of (my) performance and the film.”
