Brad Pitt is desperate for Angelina Jolie to reunite with her estranged father, Jon Voight.

The heartthrob actor who is a true family man wants to end the feud between his girlfriend and her father so that he can walk her down the aisle when they marry.

Angelina has not spoken to her dad since he accused her of having “mental problems” after her split from Billy Bob Thornton in 2002. The 30-year-old actress was furious with Jon and thought the comments may hamper her ability to adopt children.

He said at the time “I haven’t come forward and addressed the serious mental problems she has spoken about so candidly to the press over the years, but I’ve tried behind the scenes in every way.”

Brad reportedly now wants her to put the past behind them so they can concentrate on being a real family. A friend of Brad and Angelina say the feud between the actress and her dad is like “all the couple fight about”.
