George Clooney stuffed himself up to create a new look, for his new movie ‘Syriana’. He putted on so much weight that his fans didn’t recoganise him in the street.

The handsome actor, who plays an overweight CIA agent in the film, said he couldn’t bear looking at his new curves in the mirror. For his part Clooney wore a full beard, and over 30 extra pounds.

The 44-year-old said, “It was frightening. It actually scared me to think how awful I would look if I start putting on weight as I get older. So now I know that if I want to have a job as an actor, I’d better stay in shape.

“It was actually like doing an athletic stunt because it was like eight meals a day, just as hard and fast as you can eat. It really screwed with my health. I know people have done it before, but I don’t know that they’ve done it at 44. You know, I think that was my mistake.”

“The only positive thing about gaining so much weight is that you start to become a lot less recognisable in the street.” He added.
