Vaughn has slammed reports that he’s romancing “Friends” actress Jennifer Aniston, his new co-star and Brad Pitt’s former wife.

The actor, currently filming “The Break Up” with Aniston, first fuelled rumours of a romance when he was photographed cuddling with the actress on the sets, reports Internet Movie Database.

Vaughn said he was upset over claims by some people that he was taking advantage of the 36-year-old Aniston so soon after her split from Pitt.

Vaughn said: “Jennifer’s a sweet girl, but she’s very vulnerable right now and has been through a really hard time. I know people would love it if we were dating, but we’re not. She doesn’t need to cry on my shoulder.”

Aniston too has denied the rumours insisting that they are just good friends.

Vaughn says that he and Pitt are friends and recently made a cameo in the Pitt-Jolie starrer “Mr. And Mrs. Smith”.
