Camille Paglia slam Madonna on using horses as fashion statement

Author Camille Paglia has slammed Madonna that she uses horses as fashion accessories.

According to the Social critic, Madonna got injured while riding a horse last month because she is not skilled enough to handle horses and uses them as fashion accessories.

“Riding is not just another routine challenge she can master through sheer willpower. Along with physical kills, riding requires relaxation and self-subordination, an intuitive opening to the horse.

“She will surely persist and may well triumph as a rider. But until then, let’s hope she avoids the facile, disrespectful use of horses as props and fashion statements,

Paglia said that she had predicted the accident after seeing the pop singer’s Vogue magazine cover-shoot, in which she was posing on a horse holding its reins awkwardly and incorrectly.

  1. Camille is my new mentor. As a lifetime rider and horse owner as well as lifetime student of pop-culture I applaud the recent statement by Ms. Paglia about Madonna and her relentless pursuit to convince the world that she is a member of the privleged upper class, British no less and therefore giving us a glimpse of her “world”. I graduated from college in London 20 years ago and after returning home and learning about who Madonna was even then I thought she was a poser and basically full of shit. I guess somethings never change. Rock on Camille!!
