Actress Kim Cattrall, former “Samantha” from “Sex and the City” has reportedly blamed the popular series for her marriage failure.

The blonde beauty says her now-ex-husband Mark Levinson didn’t like the way her sex-mad character Samantha Jones was portrayed in the show and has also claimed that the long hours of shooting further caused problems in her then married life.

“He was a fan of the show, but I think he had problems with some of the episodes and storylines, although I did not feel that way,” the 49-year-old actress was quoted as saying.

“And I was also on a schedule that never stopped; he was 10 years older than me, and I feel maybe it was ultimately quite challenging to him,” she added.

Kim Cattrall, who is now dating Canadian chef Alan Wyse, 20 years her junior, has somewhat become a sex-expert in her real-life too, being the author of a couple of books on the sex - “Satisfaction - The Art of The Female Orgasm” and “Sexual Intelligence”.

Kim Cattrall is also making a documentary film dealing with human sexuality, which will carry the same name as her new book “Sexually Intelligent.”

Kim traveled all over the world to gather information from different people about their intimate sexual experiences and fantasies for the show and now Kim Cattrall wants to unveil it at the time of the release of her new book.

“It was so much fun. We took seven real people and we asked them all the same questions about sexuality and then we took four experts to comment on it. Then we traveled all over the world,” she said. The TV series is set to debut in November 2005.
