Liz Hurley to host TV show

British actress Elizabeth Hurley will host a television show aimed at promoting fashion designers and models.

Reports have it that Hurley is all set to make her debut on TV with the programme titled ‘Project Catwalk’ which will give an opportunity to 12 budding fashion designers and models to show their talent and skill.

The show will be screened on Sky One in 2006.

As reported in the Mirror, the competition would be on a knockout basis and only three contestations will remain in the end. These three finalist would get a chance to display their range during London Fashion Week in February next year.

The winning designer’s clothes will be shot for a top magazine and they will also get financial help to launch their own fashion line.

Hurley is quoted by the Mirror as saying: “I am genuinely excited at the prospect of being part of the launch of a hot new UK designer.�
